Veterinary Surgeon – Full-Time

- Independent practice with flexibility in clinical decision-making.

Visiting specialists including:

Orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeon

Separate dog and cat reception, consulting rooms, and wards.

On-site cattery.

20–30 minute consultation appointments.

No out-of-hours work.
Working Pattern
- Full-time permanent position.
- Locum applications welcomed while the permanent role is being recruited.
- 4-day working week.
Shifts:
- 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, OR 9:00 am – 7:00 pm.
- 1 in 3 Saturdays (9:00 am – 6:00 pm) with time off in lieu.
- No emergency or overnight rota.
Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 5 years' UK small animal practice experience.
- Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Demonstrate excellent communication and client care skills.
- Enthusiasm for high-quality clinical care and surgery.
- Be confident in both medical and surgical case management.
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative, supportive team while also managing cases independently.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £75,000 per year (depending on experience).
- CPD allowance negotiable.
- Annual leave negotiable.
