Veterinary Surgeon, Cromlyn House Veterinary Hospital, Hillsborough, Northern Ireland.

We're thrilled to offer a fantastic role for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated hospital team.

We can also offer a consultations only role if that is what you would prefer.

Rota: 25 hours a week. Across 3 days. No OOH's, No on call. If you are seeking a different rota please get in touch.

Life at Cromlyn House

Cromlyn House Veterinary Hospital was first established in 1985. Over the years we have grown and expanded our services, and we now proudly work alongside our Cert AVP and Specialist colleagues at Hillsborough Veterinary Referrals, and MiNight Vets Hillsborough, who share the building with us.

Alongside our state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, our friendly and experienced veterinary team provides the highest quality of veterinary care to the pets of our bonded and dedicated clients: from regular check-ups and routine procedures, to keyhole surgery and advanced imaging procedures.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a varied medical caseload supported by excellent facilities, including X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and access to CT imaging and blood transfusion equipment. You'll be able to deliver high-quality surgical and dental care, including dental radiography, while working alongside a supportive and experienced team that includes certificate holders, access to specialist advice, and a skilled nursing and reception team. The practice is modern, set in pleasant surroundings with easy parking, and benefits from an engaged and loyal client base supported by exciting new loyalty schemes. The ideal candidate will enjoy building strong client relationships and managing cases to the most appropriate level of care for each patient. Ongoing CPD and professional development opportunities are also available.

About You

This role can have a mix of consultations and routine surgeries or can be consultations and medicine focused.

You Will Be

  • Client care comes naturally to you, you know how to create a positive, reassuring experience that builds trust and long-lasting relationships.
  • As an experienced vet you'll be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.
