Without clinical targets or unnecessary pressure, we provide the support needed for you to deliver the medicine you trained for.


About Us

Owned by Carla and Ollie, the practice is a trusted part of the local community. Many team members have remained with us for over eight years, fostering a supportive, collaborative environment with an exceptionally loyal client base.

  • Approachable ethos: Maintaining excellence while keeping consultations affordable.

Our Team

Joining us means becoming part of a 24-strong group with a range of roles, including:

  • 7 Veterinary Surgeons (including certificate holders in Small Animal Surgery and an ophthalmic specialist with over 12 years’ experience).
  • Three experienced vets (Carla and Sophie, both with over 25 years’ experience) specialising in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, laparoscopy, and endoscopy.
  • 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses
  • Practice Manager, Reception Manager
  • 5 Client Care Advisors
  • Cleaner

We collaborate with visiting specialists, such as orthopaedic surgeons, offering HeartVets cardiology clinics monthly. This setup enables you to refine your interests while benefiting from senior mentorship.

A Day In Your Life

Here’s how your workload looks:

  • Consultations:
    • Standard 20-minute appointments
    • Extended for medical, geriatric, or dermatology cases; euthanasia discussions.
  • Admin time for phones, results, and notes—up to one hour.
  • Scheduled efficiently to avoid burnout.

A typical shift includes:

  • 8:30 AM–4:30 PM

  • 8:30 AM–6:30 PM

  • 9:00 AM–7:00 PM

  • Flexible weekends: Only one Saturday every 6 (9 AM–5 PM); no on-call duties.

Ideal commitment: 3–4 weekdays, plus selected weekends.

Our spacious, updated practice features modern infrastructure:

  • 3 Consulting Rooms
  • Digital & Dental Radiography
  • Advanced Ultrasound (cardiac probe + ECG)
  • Laparoscopic & Endoscopy Tools (gastroscopes, bronchoscope)
  • 2 Operating Theatres
  • Designated Dog & Cat Wards
  • Comfort-based: Staff room, private office, secure parking.

What We Offer
