This role embodies their philosophy of continuity of care, prioritising patient welfare, and fostering a supportive, non-target-driven environment where you can thrive professionally and personally.

  • Work location: One of the group’s boutique coastal practices

    • 2-3 surgeries per day, with a mix of:
      • Routine surgery (including dental)

    • Diverse consultations—offices, diagnostics, and case follow-ups
  • Core responsibilities:
    • Provide high-quality first-opinion care with full clinical autonomy
    • Manage client relationships and patient care from start to finish
    • Implement supportive, continuity-focused practices with trusted veterinary teams
    • Develop expertise in handling complex cases through continuous professional development
  • Specialisation & Growth:
    • Professional development fully supported, including certifications and advanced training
    • Continuous learning opportunities to refine skills in surgery, diagnostics, and case management

The Practice

A multi-award-winning, independent veterinary group founded nearly 30 years ago, committed to sustainable growth while retaining core values of patience, trust, and patient-centred care. With modern facilities across three sites, they thrive on delivering personalised veterinary services through continuity of care and familiar relationships for both owners and pets.

Key Facilities & Offerings

  • Diagnostics & Treatment:
    • Digital and dental radiography
    • Ultrasound equipment
    • In-house laboratory (with advanced diagnostic systems)
    • Multiparameter monitoring and dedicated surgical suites
  • Dental Care:
    • High-speed dental equipment and dedicated suite
  • Patient Comfort:
    • Height-adjustable tables
    • Air-conditioned clinical areas
    • Oxygen generators for emergency support
  • Operational Culture:
    • 100% in-house case management, backed by experienced teams
    • Emphasis on long-term client-pet relationships over financial metrics

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
