I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The role and you

Our days are structured with 15-minute consults as standard, longer when needed, and time taken for lunch and admin also factored into the day. We meet regularly as a clinical team to discuss issues and how to progress our patient and client care and monthly as a whole team, with an open and flexible approach the rest of the time.

There is a mixture of consults and ops time, with time to build cases and develop your skills and bonds with clients.

This rewarding position is part time with occasional sole charge so experience in this is required, and we can accommodate anything from 20-30 hours per week with no OOH. We can be flexible with days off and start and finish times, ensuring a good work/life balance is achieved, with just 1 in 3 Saturdays although this is also open to discussion.

The Benefits

In addition to a rewarding role, we’re also offering:

  • Competitive salary up to 65,000 FTE and depending on experience
  • No OOH
  • Paid holiday of 28 days, rising to 33 days after 2 years of service

  • Life assurance 4 x annual salary
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Relocation allowance (direct applicants only)
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Colleague reward hub – exclusive offers and discounts online and on the high street
