Are you looking to join a supportive practice that offers a diverse range of treatments including hip replacements!

This is a great opportunity to join our Halifax practice who are looking for an experienced vet to join them and help the practice reach new heights!

Special interests, certificates, and CPD can be supported

The role is ideally for 40 hours per week and will include 1 in 3 Saturdays. There is flexibility in the rota so the role can be made to suit you.

You would join a lovely, experienced team with very little turnover. There is no out-of-hours (OOH) or Sundays.

This role is for a good all-rounder who is confident in routine surgery and consults. You will be supported by a strong and supportive team.

Excellent pay up to £70,000 (DOE, FTE)

About us:

Halifax Vets for Pets is a long-established standalone practice that is owned and run locally by Sally. It has become a staple of the local community and offers its loyal clients and their furry friends the best care possible.

Sally is an experienced RVN who has worked tirelessly to develop a strong and supportive practice. The practice has a great reputation and receives lots of referrals due to having a peripatetic veterinary surgeon who offers advanced orthopaedic surgeries including hip replacements.

You will be supported by a very experienced team with you working alongside 1 other vet who has worked in the Halifax practice for around 18 years and has 30 years qualified experience. Along with the vet team, you will work with 4 RVNs, 2 VCAs, and 3 SVNs. They offer lots of support allowing you to concentrate on providing the best care possible.

Your Role:

This role will be perfect for a veterinary surgeon who is a good all-rounder, who is confident in all routine aspects of a GP role but is looking for that next step in their career and are happy to work with Sally to push the practice forward to new heights!
