Veterinary Surgeon - genuinely flexible hours, fixed term contract. Salary up to £60,000 FTE

The Role

Locally owned since 2010, Swindon Vets for Pets are looking for a proactive vet to join their friendly, welcoming team on a fixed term basis. So, if you’re looking for the continuity of working with the same team and clients but with a fully flexible rota to fit around your personal commitments, then this could be the role for you!

In joining our team and supporting a great community and client base, we are looking for an experienced vet with a broad range of GP skills. We are lucky to have a varied caseload, so you’ll be confident in all aspects of everyday small animal medicine and surgery.

We’re open to discussing working patterns and want to be accommodating as we know what it takes for the team to provide the first class care they do, so whether you’re looking for hours to work with the school run, caring responsibilities or a new hobby you’ve taken up, we’d like to consider the hours that suit you too.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
