Veterinary Surgeon – Vets for Pets Apsley
Salary & Flexibility
Up to £75,000 DOE Flexible hours | No out-of-hours (OOH)
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and welcoming team at Apsley Vets for Pets!
Based inside the Pets at Home store on the Daventry Retail Park (HP3 9AA), our practice offers a convenient location with:
- Plenty of onsite parking
- Easy access to local amenities
- Just 24 miles north-west of London, benefiting from excellent transport links
About the Practice
You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team consisting of:
- 1 Practice Manager
- 3 Vets
- 3 RVNs (Registered Veterinary Nurses)
- 1 Student Nurse
- 2 Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs)
- 3 Receptionists
We are a:
- Busy first-opinion practice – offering a wide variety of interesting cases.
- Learning-focused environment – encouraging case discussions and shared learning to help broaden clinical knowledge.
- Supportive yet fast-paced team – with experienced colleagues always available to help and mentor.

The Role
We offer: ✅ Full-time or part-time (flexible working pattern) ✅ 4-day workweek (full-time) ✅ 1 in 3 weekend rota (shared fairly between staff) ✅ No on-call responsibilities ✅ No overnight inpatient checks
