About Us

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a veterinary surgeon to join our fun and friendly team at Derby Kingsway! This successful small animal practice is close to the A38 with good transport links to Nottingham, Burton and the Peak District.

Our modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards, with state-of-the-art equipment and in-house laboratory facilities. We are a silver standard ICC Cat Friendly Clinic and are also rabbit friendly.

Our Partner, Emma Gilbert, is an experienced Bristol graduate and leads a supportive team of 3 other vets, 5 nurses, 3 client care advisors and a practice administrator.

About You

The ideal candidate to join our professional team will have good general small animal surgical and medical skills as well as a good knowledge of working up cases. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care.

This is a part time role working 15-30 hours per week including a shared weekend rota of 1 in 3 Saturdays, some sole charge but no OOH. Flexibility with full or part days to work but ideally to include a Friday.
