Join Dumbarton Vets for Pets – Expanding Role for Experienced Veterinarians (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Dumbarton Vets for Pets is a fast-growing, progressive veterinary practice led by Practice Owners Ciara and Melanie,-winning Practice of the Year (2023) and Supportive Practice of the Year (2024). Part of Vets4Pets UK, the practice prides itself on its low staff turnover, strong colleague benefits, and unwavering commitment to personal and professional development. The team is comprised of:

  • 11 vets (including emerging talent and specialists progressing towards exotics and internal medicine certificates)
  • 6 RVNs led by an HRVN
  • 3 SVNs & 3 VCAs
  • 4 receptionists

We’re seeking an experienced Vet (or aspiring specialist) for a full- or part-time role (30+ hours). Our flexible approach prioritises supporting your career growth, whether you’re developing specialist skills or seeking mentorship.

Your Role

You’ll collaborate in a consult-only setting, with opportunities to advance in fields like exotic and internal medicine. The practitioner is encouraged to uphold our inclusive vision—ensuring excellence for Pets, People, and Planet.


What We Offer

💰 Compensation & Support

  • £65,000 (FOE/FTE, depending on experience)
  • No OOH (out-of-hours) shift requirements
