Veterinary Surgeon – Permanent Position (4 Days, Including Saturdays)
A full-time permanent opportunity as a Veterinary Surgeon has opened at an RCVS-accredited, modern small animal practice in Thetford Forest, Norfolk (Breckland District).
Role Overview
- Hours: 4 full days per week (including one weekend morning per fortnight – Saturday only, no Sundays or out-of-hours shifts)
- Structure: A balance of consulting (2 days) and surgery (2 days)
- Location: Welcoming, well-equipped practice with strong community ties in a prime Norfolk setting
- Flexibility: Part-time hours may also be considered
Ideal Candidate
- Start ASAP in a growing small animal veterinary practice
- Strong GP experience with or using confidence in routine consults and surgery
- At least basicεταιَو سات.MD (or equivalent)
- Registered with the RCVS
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent small animal care under both consulting and surgical components
- Work within a collaborative, supportive team focused on continuing professional development
- Provide high quality diagnostic and surgical procedures

Requirements
- A degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
- Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
- Proven clinical competency in GP and surgery (minimum core experience expected)
- Self-motivated, team player, and committed to patient care excellence
