Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role where you can make a real impact from day one?

Our purpose-built Whetstone practice opened in July 2025, and we're looking for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped practice where collaboration, clinical excellence, and colleague wellbeing are genuinely valued.

Whether you enjoy a varied caseload, have a particular clinical interest, or are looking to work towards a certificate, we'll support you every step of the way.

Our Practice Owner, Shweta Nakrani, graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2011 and has clinical interests in cat-friendly practice, soft tissue surgery, and brachycephalic airway syndrome.

You'll be joining a friendly team in a purpose-built surgery featuring:

The Role

  • Part-time - 24 hours per week
  • Consult and surgical duties (consult-only applicants will also be considered)
  • Opportunity to develop your own clinical interests
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Has at least two years' clinical experience
  • Is confident with consultations and routine surgery
  • Has excellent communication and client care skills
  • Enjoys working as part of a team while also being comfortable working independently
  • Is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
  • Has an interest in developing a clinical specialism (ultrasound/scanning experience is an advantage but not essential)
