Veterinary Surgeon – Part-Time (Bath)

Up to £75,000 DOE (pro rata) plus extensive benefits

Join our Emergency and Critical Care Service at Vets Now Bath as a Vet Surgeon on a part-time basis.


About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join our welcoming team at Vets Now Bath. Here, you’ll experience a varied caseload that sharps and develops your veterinary skills, exposing you to diverse and engaging cases not commonly seen in general practice.

You’ll often collaborate with a supportive team of Vets, Nurses, Receptionists, and Animal Care Assistants.

Working Hours & Flexibility

This role is part-time, with shifts fitting an 8-week rolling rota. Current typical shift patterns include:

  • Week 3: Thursday night (1900–0830)
  • Week 6: Sunday backshift (1330–2000)
  • Week 7: Friday night (1900–0830), Saturday night (1900–0900), Sunday night (1900–0830)

Flexibility: The number of shifts you commit to can be discussed—we aim to adapt to your schedule and clinic needs.

*(Note: "Working out-of-hours doesn’t mean working all hours"!)
