Veterinary Surgeon – part time - only 1 in 4 Saturday mornings – collaborative, welcoming team in Cornwall

Are you a small animal vet keen to develop your skills within a growing practice, whilst also working in the beautiful county of Cornwall?

About Us

The practice is run locally by Raul who in turn is supported by a team of 3 additional vets as well as a very supportive and experienced nurse team with over 50 years’ experience between them, our longstanding and experienced practice manager Tracey and a brilliant team of client care advisors.

Raul qualified from Cordoba in Spain before moving to the UK in 2007 and becoming the owner of Camborne Vets4Pets in 2016. Raul holds an AVP certificate in surgery, with special interest in orthopaedics and minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery so there’s always plenty of opportunity to learn and develop your own skills, which we fully encourage and support.

Your work environment

Set in a central location to local amenities, transport routes and much more, the practice benefits from having its own parking as well as being a spacious, well set out environment, purpose built to deliver the highest clinical standards. The facilities are excellent, giving you access to all the equipment you need to care for your patients.

We already have a loyal client base with the potential for further growth, and cases can be worked up locally giving you the opportunity to develop any specific interests you have, with certification encouraged and fully funded.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
