Saturday Veterinary Surgeon – consults only, sole charge. Salary up to £50,000 FTE
Portsmouth Vets for Pets is an independently owned, veterinary-led practice within the Vets for Pets Group. The practice has been owned and run by experienced GP veterinary surgeon Justyn Loveridge since 2012, proudly serving its local community with clinical standards and working culture determined in-house
We’re looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive and experienced team to cover Saturday mornings from 9am-12pm, in addition to occasional holiday cover.
The role
- Saturdays only
- Hours 9 am - 12 pm
- Vet nurse and receptionist to support
- Sole charge
- Consults only however you will need to have ability to deal with emergencies if presented
- We are happy to allow you to work freely and have autonomy but here to support if required.
- Appointments are 15 mins as standard.
- Parking is provided.
- 2x OOH practices in place for additional support

What we are looking for:
- A qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for animal welfare and high-quality patient care
- Team player attitude with the ability to work independently
