Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

# Veterinary Surgeon – Exciting Opportunities at Inspiring Vet Care

Financial Package

  • Salary: Up to £75,000 DOE (Full-Time Equivalent)
  • Welcome Bonus: Up to £5,000
  • Relocation Allowance: Up to £8,000
  • Elevate Bonus:
    • 20% of annual salary in month 6
    • 10% of annual salary in month 12
  • Total package potential: up to £100,000

About the Role & Practice

At Inspiring Vet Care, we put our people first. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we care for over 2 million animals, with a purpose to deliver healthier animals and happier owners.

You’ll be joining a well-established, collaborative veterinary practice group spanning Cardigan, Crymych, and Lampeter.

Practice Highlights:

  • 9 Veterinary Surgeons specialising in orthopaedics, keyhole surgery, ultrasound, and dental radiography
  • 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses, including a CertECC holder
  • 11 Support Staff (VCAs, Client Care Advisors, and more)
  • Full access to:
    • Digital and dental x-ray
    • Ultrasound
    • In-house laboratories
  • RCVS GP-accredited practices with clinical freedom to follow personal interests
  • Healthy work-life balance, including no out-of-hours commitments

Requirements & Skills

Essential Criteria:

  • A veterinary degree and RCVS registration (or eligibility)
  • Experience in clinical practice with confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
  • Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
