Crieff Vets is looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and experienced team. As a long-established practice with strong community roots, we're proud to provide high-quality first opinion care while creating an environment where our people feel supported, valued and encouraged to develop.
Based solely at our Crieff practice, you'll become part of a collaborative team that enjoys working together, sharing knowledge and delivering exceptional patient and client care.

You'll be joining a supportive team of:
- 6 Veterinary Surgeons
- 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses
- 3 Student Veterinary Nurses
- 2 Animal Care Assistants
- An experienced and welcoming reception team
Our practice is well-equipped with:
- Laparoscopic surgical equipment
- Digital ultrasonography
- IM3 dental radiography
- In-house laboratory
- Digital radiography
- Laser therapy equipment
We see a diverse first opinion caseload, giving our vets the opportunity to enjoy a rewarding balance of consultations, medicine and surgery while building long-term relationships with our loyal client base.

What You'll Be Stepping Into
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys all aspects of general practice and values working within a supportive, collaborative team.
Your role will include:
- Delivering high-quality consultations and preventative healthcare
- Managing a varied medical and surgical caseload
- Working closely with our experienced nursing and support teams to provide outstanding patient care
- Building lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication and continuity of care
- Contributing to clinical discussions and sharing knowledge within the team
- Pursuing your own clinical interests with support for ongoing development and CPD
Whether you already have an area of particular interest or are keen to broaden your experience as a GP vet, we'll support you in achieving your career goals.
Working Pattern
- Full-time position working 40 hours per week
- Flexible working patterns considered
- Shared weekend and out-of-hours rota (details available on enquiry)
- Part-time applications welcomed
