The Opportunity: Build the Future with Us

Are you looking for a career-defining role where you can truly make your mark? This is your chance to join Medivet Whittlesey at the most exciting moment in our history. We have recently transitioned to a dynamic, Partner-led leadership model. Under our passionate Branch Partner, we have launched an ambitious strategic plan to transform our thriving practice into a state-of-the-art 24-Hour Veterinary Hospital over the next few years. By joining us now, you will play an active, influential role in shaping a regional flagship hospital from the ground up.

The Perfect Clinical Partnership

To drive our hospital expansion forward, we are looking to balance our Branch Partner’s expertise in Small Animal Medicine by welcoming an experienced surgical vet to the team. Ideally, an Advanced Practitioner (or working towards it) and highly confident in orthopaedic procedures, you will:

  • Have the unique opportunity to build our surgical caseload
  • Take ownership of complex cases that would otherwise be referred out

We are fully committed to backing your clinical freedom and expertise and will work with you to grow our surgical and orthopaedic capabilities—whether that means investing in:

  • A new TPLO kit
  • Specific orthopaedic instrumentation
  • Upgrades to our existing surgical suite to meet your specifications

Why Our Culture is Different

We have proven that clinical excellence and team wellbeing really can go hand in hand. Based in a spacious, bright, and modern clinic in a charming market town, we offer:

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
