🏆 About You
We are recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon Team Leader for our hospital in Margate, with responsibility for:
- Clinical Governance: Leading pet health decisions and delineating care standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervising Veterinary Surgeons, recruiting, mentoring, and nurturing clinical excellence in a supportive, surgical-biased environment.
- Evidence-based Practice: Engaging with riage, undergone management, strategic, and structured decision-making using medical expertise and a pragmatic, owner-friendly approach.
Key Attributes:
- 3+ years post-qualification veterinary experience.
- Surgical alignment within treatment philosophy.
- Expert clinical judgement, prioritising pet welfare and owner collaboration.
- Strong leadership skills: Thrives in recruitment, team development, and coaching.
- Proactive communicator: Engaging with diverse stakeholders, promoting ‘PDSA values’ via clear communication and team mentoring within practical medicine.
