About The Role

We have an incredibly rare opportunity to join our popular surgery - The Hackney Vet! We are looking for an experienced GP Vet with a medicine and ultrasound bias to join our team.

This is truly not a position that becomes available very often at all. Our team at The Hackney Vet are incredibly close and are such a strong team that positions very rarely become available.

We are a super well equipped practice with digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab and more! Our team consists of an incredible team of 6 Vets with various certificates, and an amazing bunch of RVNs, SVNs, VCAs, and Receptionists. Our Head RVN has worked at the practice since the practice opened, and the majority of the team have worked alongside her for the past 10 years.

We're very conveniently located in Hackney and surrounded by lots of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, fine dining, fast food - you name it, we have it on the doorstep! We also have Hackney station & Homerton Station close by, making commuting by bus, train, or tube super easy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
