Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal Practice (Full-Time, 4 Days/Week)
Join an established, friendly small animal vet practice near Nottingham, offering a supportive team environment with a strong clinical focus.
Role Overview
We seek a Veterinary Surgeon to work 4 days per week, including one in four Saturdays (9 AM–5 PM), with no Sunday shifts or out-of-hours duties.
Act as part of a dynamic team of 4 Vets and 7 RVNs in a teaching practice with state-of-the-art facilities:
- Full in-house laboratory suite
- Digital radiography & advanced ultrasound equipment (including cardiac probe)
- Tonopen & ECG
- Dedicated warding (separate Dog, Cat, & Exotic animal areas)
The caseload is varied, with strong clinical support for non-routine procedures. Confidence in routine surgeries and consultations is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
✔ Qualified Veterinary Surgeon (RCVS registration required) ✔ Experience in routine surgeries and clinical practice ✔ Comfortable with wide caseload demands
