Are you an experienced aviation vetting professional looking for your next challenge? Do you have experience working with Airport ID Centres, Vetting Gateway and complex airside pass applications? Would you like to play a key role in one of the UK's leading airport workforce solutions businesses? If so, we'd love to hear from you. At Optime, we're building dedicated Service Delivery Teams that take ownership of client success across our airport network. We're looking for a Vetting Team Leader to become the vetting and compliance expert within our Heathrow Service Delivery Team, supporting Heathrow, Luton and London City Airports. This is not a traditional management role. Instead, you'll be the operational lead for vetting delivery, working alongside recruiters, airport stakeholders and the Service Delivery Manager to ensure candidates are cleared quickly, compliantly and in line with client commitments. Key Details: Salary of £35,000 per annum Monthly bonus of up to £500 Working hours: Monday to Friday - 08:30 am to 17:00 pm Genuine opportunity to influence operational performance. Key Responsibilities: Leading vetting delivery across Heathrow, Luton and London City operations. Managing relationships with Airport ID Centres. Acting as the escalation point for complex vetting matters. Coordinating vetting activity across the Service Delivery Team. Supporting mobilisation projects and operational delivery. Driving improvements in vetting turnaround times and compliance performance. Contributing towards team-wide performance objectives and bonus achievement. Essential Requirements: Aviation vetting and compliance experience. Vetting Gateway experience. Experience working with Airport ID Centres. Excellent organisation and stakeholder management skills. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
