Vibration Monitoring Field Service Engineer
Location: Home-Based, UK (Ideally within commuting distance of Cambridge) | Full-Time
Role Summary
We are seeking a Vibration Monitoring Field Service Engineer to join a leading vibration monitoring technology manufacturer. This is a home-based role supporting customers across the UK, providing installation, maintenance, repair, and fault-finding services on vibration monitoring systems. The position offers the opportunity to work with a recognised market leader and an established portfolio of blue-chip customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, maintain, and repair vibration monitoring systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults.
- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and on-site customer assistance.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports.

Required Qualifications
- Electrical or electronic engineering background.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Competent working with three-phase systems and high voltage/current equipment.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK.

Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of experience in a Field Service Engineer role.
- Experience with vibration monitoring, condition monitoring, or noise monitoring systems.
- Previous experience supporting industrial or manufacturing customers.
