About the Role
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Business Technology Liaison Data Analyst to join our Operations team in Manchester.
In this strategic and impactful role, you’ll:
- Serve as the primary interface between:
- Operations
- Engineering teams
- Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to:
- Gather requirements
- Document needs
- Translate business demands into analytical/digital solutions
- Conduct end-to-end data analysis, including:
- Data sourcing
- Validation
- Transformation
- Reconciliation
- Automate manual processes using digital tools such as Alteryx and Power BI, improving efficiency
- Provide analytical insights to identify cashflows Data trends, risks, and opportunities within Global Returns Operations

Key Responsibilities
- Bridge the gap between engineering teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration
- Lead data initiatives that enable informed decision-making across departments
- Implement and optimise data-driven workflows, enhancing efficiency and data integrity
- Offer strategic advice on data governance, analytics, and technology adoption
- Represent the Operations function in technology-related discussions and innovations
- Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and co-create solutions via Alteryx workflows
Requirements
Core Competencies
- Demonstrated proven leadership with ability to:
- Manage multiple priorities
- Engage confidently with senior stakeholders
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team dynamic
- Executive level Business Analysis expertise combined with advanced Data Analysis skillsets
- Extensive experience with:
- Power BI for dashboarding and reporting
- Alteryx for workflow automation and data transformation
- Solid excellent command of:
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- SQL queries or equivalent data querying experience
