We are on the search for a passionate, dynamic and charismatic individual to join us at our London Central Support as Vice President Commercial Finance.

About the role

The primary purposes of this role is to lead the financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis for the hotel portfolio, providing insight and decision support to the hotel executive team and corporate leadership team.

More specifically, responsibilities will include the following (not exhaustive list):

  • Produce consolidated monthly performance packs and P&L analysis for the hotel portfolio, including variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year, with clear identification of key business drivers and actionable insights.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, long-range planning and rolling forecast cycles for managed and leased properties.
  • Develop, standardise and continuously enhance FP&A tools, financial models and dashboards to support hotel performance monitoring and decision-making.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Revenue Management and Commercial teams to evaluate business initiatives, support pricing and mix decisions, and quantify the financial impact of strategic projects.
  • Coordinate strategic planning and scenario modelling across the portfolio, including pipeline changes, refurbishments, new openings, temporary closures, and brand conversions.
  • Participate in monthly owner review meetings alongside the Commercial and Operations leadership, presenting portfolio and property-level financial performance, key KPIs, variance analysis and forward-looking insights, and addressing owner queries on performance drivers, risks and outlook.
  • Prepare and refine owner-specific performance packs and supporting analysis in advance of monthly and quarterly review meetings.
  • Oversee the development and monitoring of pre-opening budgets and lead the preparation of Year 1 operating budgets for new hotels and conversions.
  • Support group wide forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning for management fees and other fee-related revenues.
  • Lead, develop and coach Financial Controllers, setting high standards for financial modelling, analytical rigour, quality of insight and stakeholder communication.

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Significant FP&A or Commercial Finance experience, ideally within hospitality or multi-site operations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and P&L analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI and financial reporting tools.
  • Ability to translate financial data into clear commercial insights and recommendations.
  • Experience partnering with Operations, Revenue Management and Commercial teams.
  • Confident presenting financial performance to senior leaders and hotel owners.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
