# **About This Role**
## **About the Role**
The **Liquidity Solutions Team** within **ETF Markets** (part of BlackRock’s BGM platform) is the firm’s gateway for **ETF trading expertise, market intelligence, and ecosystem engagement** across **EMEA**. It works closely with **Primary- and Secondary Markets** teams to bridge clients, internal partners, and external **ETF ecosystem** stakeholders.
This **client-facing role** sits at the intersection of **markets, content, and innovation**. Key focus areas include:
- Delivering **trading guidance, education, and expert insights** on ETFs.
- **Expanding use cases for the ETF wrapper** beyond traditional applications.
- **Building trusted relationships** while fostering a collaborative, goal-oriented approach.
We seek a candidate who is **self-directed, analytical, and inspired by unearthing new perspectives**, with an ability to create **engaging, market-driven content**.

## **Key Responsibilities**
- **Drive client engagement** across EMEA by delivering **expert advice** on ETF **trading, liquidity, and market structures** to end clients and **Sales partners**.
- **Develop high-value content**, including:
- Pre-trade analyses and post-trade **case studies**.
- **Market insights and industry deep dives** for clients, partners, and internal teams.
- **Innovate within ETF applications**, exploring strategies such as **ETF options, lending, collateral, and algorithmic execution**.
- **Educate stakeholders** (internal/external) on **ETF ecosystem dynamics**, trading best practices, and emerging **liquidity trends**.
- **Share real-time insights** with Sales teams to **enhance commercial discussions**.
- **Leverage technology** to **streamline workflows**, improve content quality, and accelerate delivery.

Knowledge & Experience
- 5+ years of industry experience, ideally in:
- ETF trading/sales,
- Capital markets, or
- Institutional liquidity/market structure.
- Deep understanding of ETF fundamentals, liquidity mechanics, and broader market dynamics.
- Bonus: Derivatives background or working knowledge of ETF leverage/futures.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative or finance-related discipline (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.).
- Polished written/oral communication in English (fluent at an expert level). Multilingual (especially EU languages) advantageous.
- Proven ability to:
- Create content tailored to client needs (e.g., analyses, reports, presentations).
- Translate technical market insights into actionable frameworks.
- Comfortable and enthusiastic about AI tools to improve workflows, enhance content, and augment productivity.
