Join BBVA’s BEX team to support Global Transaction Banking (GTB) Distribution & Portfolio Solutions team, a globally active platform focused on optimising capital and credit usage through the distribution and risk mitigation of trade finance assets.

The team operates across banks, insurers, multilaterals, and institutional investors to distribute trade finance portfolios across primary and secondary markets.

This role sits within the Business Execution (BEX) / Middle Office function, which plays a critical role in supporting the Distribution team by ensuring efficient execution, control, and lifecycle management of transactions post-origination.

About the job:

This is a high-impact BEX / Middle Office role supporting the Distribution team in the execution of originate-to-distribute (OTD) trade finance transactions.

Reporting directly to the Head of Business Execution (BEX), you will be responsible for post-origination execution, documentation, and ongoing management of transactions, acting as the key link between front office distribution/origination, clients, and operational teams.

This role is not focused on deal origination, but on owning and delivering best-in-class execution, governance, and control across the transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Execution & Lifecycle Management (Core BEX Function)

  • Lead the end-to-end post-origination execution of trade finance distribution transactions across primary and secondary markets.
  • Manage the lifecycle from documentation through to settlement, amendments, and maturity.
  • Ensure transactions are executed efficiently, accurately, and in line with internal controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
