VP IT, EMENA
Role: Full-Time, Permanent ⏤ Location: Stockley Park This role is 5 days on-site.
About the Role
The VP of IT will be a senior leader with strong executive presence to steer our EMENA IT function. This individual must have extensive hands-on experience across IT infrastructure, operations, and security, with proven ability to:
- Guide the strategic direction and operational excellence of the EMENA IT function.
- Partner with key business stakeholders to plan, scope, and prioritise IT projects.
- Align continuous improvement initiatives throughout regional operations with global business goals—and implement enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Operations
Lead critical technical domains:
- Servers & Virtualisation (including Azure, IaaS, PaaS, identity management)
- Data centres & network architecture (routers, switches, UPSs, back-up solutions)
- Monitoring & performance management of IT components against KPIs / SLAs
- Vendor relationship management and alignment with ISO 20000 / 27001 standards
Security & Compliance
Collaborate with the Information Security team to:
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures (firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection).
- Ensure compliance with UK/EU data protection regulations, GxP, and company frameworks.
- Enforce regulatory standards and policy enforcement.

Regional Strategy & Collaboration
- Bridge IT operations across Sales, Manufacturing, and Distribution in EMENA.
- Integrate regional operations with global strategies for:
- ERP/CRM/SCM infrastructure and services.
- Helpdesk solutions.
- Act as regional voice in global IT forums to drive business-application success.
Leadership & Innovation
- Lead and mentor the regional IT team toward accountability, innovation, and excellence.
- Drive digital transformation and infrastructure modernisation aligned with business goals.
Requirements
Core Qualifications:
✔ Senior IT leadership with hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, operations, and security. ✔ Regulated environment exposure (e.g., GxP, financial governance, IT risk management). ✔ Familiarity with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, SCM) and their infrastructure dependencies.
Technical Proficiency:
- Active Directory, Windows / Linux environments, and networking expertise:
- SSL / IPSec, VLAN, VPN (enterprise protocols).
- Virtualisation & Back-up:
- VMware, Hyper-V, Veeam, Commvault
- Hands-on disaster recovery planning
- Cloud Platforms: Advanced experience in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP, including cloud migration, hybrid environments, and cost optimisation.
- Security Tools: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne & SIEM platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel)
- Monitoring & Automation:
- Familiarity with (SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix)
- Infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform.
