Vice President of International Franchise Operations
As the Vice President of International Franchise Operations, you will be responsible for driving the holistic brand experience and the unit economics in international markets. You will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities to improve unit economics, holistic studio sales growth and member acquisition, member experience and product expression while cultivating relationships with franchise partners and their teams. In this role you will also work closely with the leaders of the International Purpose Brands Business Teams in the region to support further growth of existing franchise partners and securing solid growth across the brand.
Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)
In this role, you will have a measurable impact at a Global scale on the health of consumers and the success of entrepreneurial franchisees as part of the largest global studio fitness brand.
Expectations
- Develop a comprehensive multi-year strategy and execution plan for member experience, brand expression and studio level growth and profitability.
- Strengthen operational processes and playbooks to drive greater member acquisition, engagement and retention
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to identify, evaluate and democratize best practices around coach training & compensation, class scheduling and utilization, member engagement and retention, lead generation and new join growth
- Lead competitive research and analysis on industry developments and best practices for studio fitness operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, operations, and marketing to develop support systems and democratize best practices to drive SSS, profitability, consistent brand standards and operations excellence
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to senior leadership on international franchisee operational performance metrics and growth opportunities.
- Share best practices from Orangetheory’s domestic departments with Master franchisees across the Orangetheory’s International Units.
Key Relationships
- This role will have a team of 4 to 5 individuals currently: 3 regional directors and 1-2 more junior, operations specialist roles. The team is also supported by global brand marketing, international development, franchising and franchise sales, and global performance management and product development
- This role will be a member of the Orangetheory global leadership team and will liaise closely with the domestic operations teams, other global brand functions and Purpose Brands platform shared services.
- This role will work hand in hand with the brand’s international development leadership including, EVP International growth and the OTF VP of International Franchise Development, to lead international master franchisees and in some cases individual franchisees, and support their holistic growth, development and success.

- Ability to collaborate closely with VP Int’l Fran Development and achieve common goals on behalf of the brand.
Background
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (Master preferred) in Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in franchise operational leadership, studio level revenue and profitability growth and proven track record of success in international markets.
- Extensive experience in international franchise operations, growth through revenue expansion opportunities, membership sales and engagement, member experience and referrals, 4-wall economics improvement, local partnership creation, (etc.)
- Franchise industry experience with multi-brands strongly preferred (International Centered).
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity are critical for navigating diverse international markets. Experience working with teams and clients from different cultural backgrounds is highly valuable.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
- Experience within the health/wellness/ fitness industry preferred.

Additional Details
- This position requires significant international travel (including solo). Additionally, some of this travel will be over weekends and/or holidays. This position will also require work outside of normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., including events and hosting of clients during the evenings.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport and obtain required visas for travel to existing and new markets.
Location:
Candidates must be based in Europe, with a preference for Spain or the United Kingdom.
Salary Range
- Spain: €120,000–€135,000 EUR annually
- United Kingdom: £105,000–£118,000 GBP annually
Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including location, experience, skills, and internal equity.
