Position Summary
As a member of the Investment Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operational duties of ICG’s Mezzanine, Senior Debt transactions, Equity book and Real Assets portfolios.
The core responsibility of this role is to accurately capture and reflect all private deal investment activity—including new deals, lifecycle events, and restructures—in ICG's Investment Book of Records (IBOR). This involves using current systems such as WSO and V3, with a transition in progress to Efront.
Additionally, this position requires collaboration with internal team members and third parties, ensuring seamless coordination across support functions, investment teams and external service providers.
Primary Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Core Operations
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of private investment transactions (loans, private credit and equity, real assets).
- Review and process deal information and documentation for V3 and WSO loan recordings (transitioning to Efront).
- Handle lifecycle events, such as:
- Rollovers
- Rate fixes
- Repayments
- Investor transfers
- Liaise with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and Loan Agents to ensure accurate bookings.
- Perform monthly reconciliations with internal teams (e.g., Finance) to confirm IBOR accuracy.

Process Improvement & Implementation
- Overhaul existing operating models, Enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Support the launch of new products and develop operating models.
- Represent Investment Operations in internal and external meetings, including presentations.
- Assist IT teams to implement new software systems and redesign processes/procedures.
Key Requirements / Qualifications
Essential
- Substantial experience in operations/loan support within financial services or investment management, preferably in a buy-side context.
- Proficiency in loan documentation for primary loans and related equity instruments (e.g., **Warrants, real assets, infrastructure)。
- Self-starter with strategic thinking skills and clear experience in team leadership or development.
- Process improvement record—previously overhauled and documented formal procedures.
- Proven ability to liaise with external third parties and internal teams to guarantee timely and accurate financial bookings.
- Strong communication skills, excellent customer service ethic, and minimal supervision needed.
- Willingness to manage own workload independent.
Desirable
- Proactive—drives problem-solving efforts.
- Experience with loan management systems (e.g., WSO, Debtdomain) and investment book records (e.g., eFront).
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills, along with report-writing expertise.
- Change agent mindset—embraces development and innovation.
- Metrics & KPI reporting experience.
- Ability to collaborate with team while still maintaining self-motivation.
