About the Role
Lead the future of a global Enterprise SaaS product portfolio. We're exclusively partnering with a highly successful international software business as they embark on a major transformation of one of their flagship product portfolios. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced VP of Product to define the future vision of a global product suite, leading portfolio strategy across 11 enterprise products while developing and inspiring a team of 7 Product Managers and Product Leaders.
This isn't a role for someone who simply manages roadmaps. We're looking for someone who sees the bigger picture—someone who can simplify complexity, make difficult investment decisions and build a product organisation capable of delivering sustainable commercial growth at enterprise scale.
The Opportunity
The business has grown significantly through acquisition and organic expansion and is now entering the next phase of its journey. With a broad international customer base, significant market share and ambitious investment plans, the focus is now on creating a clear product vision, rationalising overlapping capabilities and accelerating innovation through AI. You'll inherit a successful portfolio, but your challenge will be to shape what comes next. Working alongside Engineering, Design, Commercial and Executive Leadership, you'll define the strategic direction of the portfolio while ensuring product investment aligns with customer value, commercial opportunity and long-term scalability. This is a highly visible leadership position with genuine influence across the organisation.
What You'll Be Responsible For
As VP of Product you'll:
- Own the strategic direction of a global Enterprise SaaS product portfolio
- Lead and develop a team of 7 Product Managers and Product Leaders
- Take ownership of a portfolio comprising 11 interconnected products
- Create a clear long-term product vision aligned to commercial objectives
- Drive portfolio rationalisation, simplification and consolidation initiatives
- Make complex investment and prioritisation decisions across multiple product lines
- Build product strategies that balance customer needs with commercial outcomes
- Work closely with Engineering to ensure delivery aligns with strategic goals
- Influence senior executive stakeholders across multiple business functions
- Develop meaningful product performance metrics focused on customer adoption, retention and commercial impact
- Champion AI-enabled product innovation across the portfolio
- Ensure Product becomes a strategic driver of business growth rather than simply a delivery function

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
