We're partnering exclusively with a fast-growing, VC-backed industrial AI company that is already trusted by some of the biggest names in global manufacturing. Their AI takes autonomous control of complex industrial processes - cutting cost, complexity, and carbon emissions simultaneously, with proven ROI in under a year. This is category-defining technology, not an incremental improvement on old software.

Our client has already proven the model works at scale, with a track record of major enterprise customers, deep OEM partnerships, and results that speak for themselves. Now they need a commercial leader to take them from a founder-led, highly technical sales motion into a structured, scalable enterprise organisation.

The Role
As VP Commercial, you'll own growth across four levers:
- Expansion within existing strategic enterprise accounts
- Multi-site rollout across global customer groups
- Selective acquisition of high-value new logos
- Development of a scalable post-sale expansion motion
You'll be the bridge between deeply technical internal teams and executive-level customer stakeholders - building forecasting discipline, GTM frameworks, and a pre-sales/solutions capability, while personally leading complex enterprise sales cycles. You'll also help shape the company's expansion beyond its founding sector into adjacent heavy industries.
What We're Looking For
- Proven success selling complex industrial or technical software solutions
- Strong enterprise sales leadership within highly consultative, multi-stakeholder environments
- A track record of expanding strategic accounts and driving lifecycle growth
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-evolving product environments
- Experience building commercial process and structure within a scaling organisation
- Credibility with both C-suite customers and operational/engineering stakeholders
- Significant international enterprise sales exposure
- A hands-on, player-coach mentality — equally comfortable leading strategy and closing deals
