VP of Sales

👋 I’m Oren, Co-founder of Zen Educate

We’re looking for a VP of Sales to join our leadership team as part of our next chapter of growth in the UK.

If you love turning chaos into clarity and are deeply passionate about solving real-world problems, then keep reading.

About Zen Educate

Why we exist

Education is the cornerstone of a thriving society. Schools do their utmost to provide children with positive experiences, but having the right staff is essential to fulfilling that promise. That’s where we come in.

Whether it’s a Year 1 teacher greeting her class with a “Good morning,” or a Teaching Assistant supporting a pupil during break times, Zen helps schools find the right educators faster without breaking the bank.

Schools in the UK and US spend over ÂŁ12bn a year on agency staff, and over ÂŁ3.6bn of that goes straight to recruitment agencies. Zen is an all-in-one digital platform transforming how schools find, vet, and manage temporary educators.

School leaders can now search, book, and manage staff in real time, while gaining full visibility and control over their spend and compliance.

With our mission, "We Care More," we aim to improve the standard of education and deliver more smiles to children’s faces every day.

The Opportunity

We need someone to expedite our school awareness and adoption to the next level. That’s where you come in.

What We Are Looking For

We’ve built strong foundations:

  • Leading supplier in temporary educator recruitment
  • Fastest growing company in the UK
  • High-performing sales team seeking exceptional leadership
  • Differentiated product with a proven impact on the lives of educators, pupils, and the education system

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You Might Like or Dislike

Features within our organization provide a good foundation for understanding whether this role suits you:

✔ Systems over individual heroics – Effective players are essential, but a great system trumps the best performer without one. Our product has product-market-fit, and we seek leaders capable of refining the system for wider adoption.

✔ First principles reasoning – We believe every scenario has unique conditions. → Experience guides decisions, but endless curiosity and root cause analysis drive effective leadership.

✔ Slope & passion over barrier traction – High-trajectory individuals often outpace those who offer early success but slow growth. → Leaders here often invest in upskilling‘from-non-traditional-backgrounds, realizing it pays significant dividends.

Key note: If you’re a seasoned sales leader, even without prior experience in education, and you’re curious and eager to learn, applying is encouraged!

Excited? Let’s Collaborate!
