Team/Role Overview:

We are excited to announce a critical opening for a Product Manager, Vice President. This senior-level position will be instrumental in shaping the future of our deposit products across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary/investment spend management. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to lead the product launch, product development and expansion to new markets, increase market share, regulatory compliance and obtain competitive position.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as a Product SME for standard liquidity product offerings such as Deposits, Time Deposits, Overdrafts, credit interest and associated Withholding Tax (WHT) and other local taxes across the UK & Europe cluster
  • Oversee compliance to Depositor Protection regulations across UK & Europe cluster, ensuring adherence to local requirements.
  • Support the implementation of a robust framework for Depositor Protection reporting globally, driving these initiatives for the International clusters
  • Manage currency expansion within deposit product offerings.
  • Ensure product offerings and related processes are in strict compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Contribute to the strategic product roadmaps for core deposit products, including development, launches, and marketing efforts to maximize benefit and identify market trends within the cluster.
  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, and channel strategies to achieve preferred partner status for deposit products.
  • Drive product enhancements and updates to vision/roadmap for deposit products, incorporating market trends and client needs to maximize client satisfaction and improve business outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively on Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), defining product propositions, interim processes, and remediation activities aligned with strategic roadmaps for deposit products.
  • Partner with Technology and Agile teams to develop strategic automation and process enhancement solutions to reduce implementation turnaround time (TAT) for deposit product initiatives.
  • Appropriately assess and mitigate risk in all business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets, ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and transparently managing control issues specific to deposit products.
  • Align stakeholders around strategic initiatives and key decisions, and facilitate effective executive reviews with minimal support/oversight.
  • Recommend and deliver process improvements in collaboration with onboarding, operations, technology, and other teams to enhance the efficiency of deposit product management.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, specialized analytics or related discipline
  • Broad and diverse function experience in marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development and analytics
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
