Vice President – Secondary Market Advisory
A well-established, independent brokerage firm is seeking to appoint a Vice President to join its growing Secondary Market Advisory platform. The market for secondary transactions is in a sustain period of growth, a trend that is likely to continue as investors seek liquidity in challenging market conditions.
This opportunity is designed for a high-performing professional with 5–10 years of experience who is looking to play a central role in the execution of secondary transactions, while building and managing client relationships across a range of alternative asset classes including private equity, private credit, real estate, and infrastructure.
The role will appeal to an ambitious, analytical individual from an investment banking, private equity, or secondary advisory background who is seeking increased responsibility, broader transaction exposure, and a more entrepreneurial platform.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to support the execution of secondary market transactions, while taking ownership of day-to-day client interaction, transaction management, and analytical workstreams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
