Who You Are
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our dynamic Financial Engineering team, where you’ll build innovative reporting solutions driving key financial decisions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong background in software development
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL
- Good understanding of crypto trading
- Ability to work independently, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Desire to own issues and take them from start to finish
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the Finance Engineering team to maintain and enhance existing solutions
- Work with internal Finance and Accounting clients to develop new solutions
- Provide first-line support to internal clients (query resolution, issue identification, and resolution)
- Contribute to new Finance Engineering initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Core Skills:
- Excellent programming skills in Python
- Strong working knowledge of Pandas and PySpark libraries
- Strong SQL skills (relational databases)
- ETL process experience
- Integration of multiple platforms
- Full SDLC process experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Bonus Points:
- Technical experience with Databricks or Delta Lake platforms
- Experience with large datasets
- AWS cloud deployments and API experience
- Docker and Kubernetes experience
- Familiarity with Go, C#, or Java
- Familiarity with financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, PnL)
- Experience with crypto trading (spot, DeFi, and derivatives)
