We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Tax Product Management to join our Enterprise Custody Platform team. This role is located in Manchester. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Play a key role in delivering strategic change within Custody Tax, contributing to a large scale transformation of our technology platforms and service delivery. Act as a strong and credible Product Owner within the Product function, partnering closely with the Product Manager to shape priorities, delivery approach, and outcomes. Support the Product Manager with day to day product ownership, shaping and refining user stories, owning and prioritising areas of the backlog, and providing clear direction to others to enable effective and predictable delivery. Work across Product, Engineering, and Operations to drive the delivery of future state capabilities and ongoing enhancements, balancing strategic intent with practical execution. Understanding client needs and our tax services, ensuring we facilitate a smooth transition of products and services to new strategic technology platforms. Take ownership of delivery insights by tracking key delivery and performance indicators, using these to drive continuous improvement in product outcomes and ways of working. Champion pragmatic improvement, exploring how tools, automation, and AI can be applied responsibly to improve delivery efficiency, control, and outcomes across the POD. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Experience working as a Product Owner (or equivalent), with a track record of delivering outcomes in agile, cross functional environments. Strong hands on delivery capability, including requirements definition, backlog ownership, prioritisation, and close collaboration with Scrum teams. Experience contributing as a subject matter expert in complex delivery or transformation initiatives, offering constructive challenges and practical solutions. An understanding of the importance of data in platform and business transformation, with experience shaping or supporting data related requirements and outcomes. Strong problem solving skills and comfort operating in environments with ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving direction. Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a way that enables good decision making. Experience working in financial services or another regulated industry, preferably in custody, depositary, or fund oversight activities.
