Vice Principal, HARRIS FEDERATION

Vice Principal – Harris Academy Beckenham

WORKING WITH US

Harris Academy Beckenham is a happy, energetic and inclusive 11-18 academy known for being one of the most successful and highest-performing schools in Bromley. Retaining its ‘Outstanding' Ofsted judgement again in May 2023 (following its June 2017 rating), we are one of just 52 schools nationally to achieve this status.

The academy is hugely popular, with 1,500 applicants competing for just 180 places each year. We are renowned for our excellence, high standards of discipline, and academic success—consistently outperforming national averages across all measures. In 2019, we were designated as a ‘World Class’ school due to our distinctive approach to developing students’ skills, character, and global competitiveness. We were re-accredited in 2022, reinforcing our status as an exceptional learning community.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
