Role: Video Annotation Specialist (Contract) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Payout: $65–$80/hour
About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Video Annotation Specialist to work on a contract basis. The role involves annotating video content to improve machine learning models for computer vision applications. You will collaborate closely with AI teams to ensure high-quality labeled data for training and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate video frames with:
- Bounding boxes
- Polygons
- Semantic segmentation masks To identify objects, actions, and attributes
- Ensure annotation accuracy and consistency by following detailed guidelines and quality control processes
- Collaborate with AI engineers to refine annotation guidelines and improve dataset quality for model training
- Verify and validate annotated data to meet project-specific requirements and performance metrics
- Document annotation processes and report inconsistencies or challenges during labeling

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in video annotation or image labeling for computer vision projects
- Proficiency in annotation tools such as:
- Labelbox
- CVAT
- Similar platforms
- Ability to exercise attention to detail and follow complex annotation guidelines accurately
- Familiarity with:
- Machine learning concepts
- Data labeling best practices
- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs
