Company Summary

Sorenson Communications, incorporating SignVideo and Sign Language Interactions, is a well-established company with a proven track record of service delivery within the public, private and voluntary sector. In addition to providing communication support services, we also have experience in working with health boards, local authorities and other organisations to scope out local needs, pilot and deliver services. We are a Face to Face, Video Relay Services and Video Remote Interpreting provider in the UK. We provide British Sign Language (BSL) video interpreting services to enable communication between the community of over 150,000 deaf BSL users in the UK and hearing people. Our relay service allows users to make and receive BSL interpreted video calls so that they can effectively and effortlessly communicate with each other. We are passionate about providing communication services and working in partnership with other organisations who share the same objectives. Our staff are fully committed to providing the best quality of service possible.

Role Description

You will be providing BSL/English interpreting in a variety of face-to-face domains and settings. In addition to this, there will be a requirement to support our remote services for Deaf people throughout the UK, as part of an established, committed and dynamic staff team. Interpreter deployment is managed with consideration for experience and length of qualification, supporting appropriate placement across the service. All applicants are expected to have a sound knowledge of issues relating to the Deaf community and a clear understanding of the role of a BSL/English Interpreter and be registered as an interpreter with either NRCPD or RBSLI as a qualified Registered Sign Language Interpreter (BSL).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
