Ynot Studios – Sunderland | Full-Time Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Ynot Studios is a Sunderland-based creative agency specialising in video production, brand design, and digital content.
For the last eight years, we’ve been helping ambitious brands redefine the ordinary through creative storytelling, strategic thinking, and high-quality content. Our clients range from global brands and major sporting organisations to local businesses looking to make a bigger impact.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented Video Editor / Videographer to join the team.
The Role
This is primarily an editing role based at our Sunderland office, with opportunities to get involved in filming, production, and content creation on location.
You’ll be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, polished content across a wide range of formats and industries—from social-first campaigns and branded content to promotional films and creative campaigns.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to develop their craft, contribute creative ideas, and play an active role in a growing agency.
What You’ll Be Doing
Editing (Core Focus)
- Editing high-quality video content across multiple industries and formats
- Creating engaging short-form and social-first content
- Editing longer-form branded and corporate productions
- Colour correction, sound design, and final delivery
- Adding graphics, titles, and visual enhancements
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Organising and maintaining project files and media

Production Support
- Assisting on client shoots across the UK
- Operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
- Capturing behind-the-scenes content
- Supporting production logistics and shoot preparation
- Helping deliver high production values on location
Requirements
Essential:
- A strong portfolio showcasing video editing work (showreel and project examples)
- Strong experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including:
- Premiere Pro (highly confident)
- After Effects
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement
- Knowledge of social media content and current digital trends
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience operating Sony camera systems
- Videography and camera operation experience
- Motion graphics and animation skills
- Experience working in an agency or production environment
