Creative Assistant
Introduction
At Crumb, our mission is to provide pet owners with complete peace of mind. Our smart tags give owners the comfort that if their pet ever went missing, they’d have the highest possible chance of being reunited.
Crumb launched in 2022, growing quickly and attracting attention. We now have a community of over a million pets worldwide, following our expansion to the US, Canada, and Australia. We plan to launch in the EU later this year.
We combine innovative technology with a passion for pets to create products that make a difference. We’re looking for a creative, enthusiastic, pet-loving individual to join our team and help us create as many amazing videos promoting our mission as possible.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
- Take old/new/generated/b-roll videos and edit them into finished ads
- Editing with CapCut or Premiere Pro
- Add captions, sound effects, and music
- Create multiple different hooks from the same video

AI Video Generation
- Using existing and new tools to generate videos
- Help create concepts for new videos
- Change voice on generated video
Social Media
- Post generated videos
- Promote winning videos to ads
- Find winning videos/hooks from other brands
Reporting & Analytics
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics (hook rate, hold rate, etc.)
- Provide regular reports and insights to optimize content and strategy
- Use data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in creating social media videos which hook viewers
- Exceptional skills in video editing (3+ years experience with tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for pets and familiarity with pet-related communities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative thinker with a knack for storytelling and engaging audiences
- Extensive knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools

Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working in the pet industry or with pet-related brands
- Have run Facebook ads for performance brands
