AI Cinematic Video Editor (NSFW Content – Adult Industry)
Remote | Full-time | B2B Contract Preferred
This is not a traditional video editing role...
...but traditional filmmaking, editing and post-production skills remain absolutely essential.
We're looking for an AI-native filmmaker who combines strong cinematic instincts with deep technical knowledge of today's generative AI tools.
You'll spend far more time directing AI models, engineering prompts and generating original footage than working with traditionally shot material—but your understanding of storytelling, editing, pacing and post-production is what will bring those AI-generated scenes to life.
We're not looking for a video editor who occasionally uses AI.
We're looking for a filmmaker who understands narrative and uses AI as their primary production tool.
About the Role
Our client is one of the fastest-growing companies in the AI consumer space, creating AI-powered companion experiences used by millions of people worldwide.
You'll produce cinematic marketing campaigns and narrative-driven content within the AI Companion space, creating work featuring explicit adult (NSFW) themes, uncensored AI characters and mature storylines.
Being genuinely comfortable working with explicit adult content every day is an essential requirement for this position.
Storytelling Matters Just As Much As Technology
The AI tools are only half the equation.
We're looking for someone who understands how stories work.
Someone who knows how to:
- Hook an audience within the first few seconds
- Build tension and emotional engagement
- Create memorable characters
- Pace scenes for maximum impact
- Structure narratives that keep viewers watching
- Understand why one sequence works and another doesn't
Whether you're creating a 20-second advert or a longer cinematic sequence, you'll know how to use editing, shot selection, music, pacing and visual storytelling to create content that people genuinely want to watch.
Exceptional AI visuals without compelling storytelling won't be enough.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Prompt Engineering Is a Core Part of This Role
This isn't about writing a few prompts into ChatGPT or generating the occasional AI image.
Prompt engineering is central to how you'll create content.
You'll already be using prompting professionally to:
- Direct cinematic camera movement
- Control lighting, framing and composition
- Create believable AI characters
- Maintain character consistency across multiple scenes
- Build environments and visual continuity
- Iterate rapidly to solve creative and technical challenges
- Combine multiple AI tools into efficient production workflows
You should understand how different models behave, know their strengths and weaknesses, and consistently achieve high-quality creative output through experimentation and refinement.
Traditional Editing & Post-Production Still Matter
AI generates the building blocks.
You'll turn those assets into polished, production-ready films.
You'll have strong experience in:
- Narrative editing
- Cinematic pacing
- Colour correction and grading
- Sound design and music integration
- Motion graphics where appropriate
- Compositing
- Finishing and delivery
- Maintaining visual quality throughout post-production
Knowing when to cut, hold, build tension or change pace is just as important as knowing which AI model to use.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll own projects from concept through to final delivery, including:
- Developing creative concepts
- Prompt engineering and AI scene creation
- Generating cinematic footage using the latest AI video models
- Creating consistent characters across multiple scenes
- Crafting engaging narrative content
- Editing, compositing and finishing production-ready films
- Experimenting with emerging AI technologies
- Sharing new workflows and technical discoveries with the wider team
- Taking complete ownership of projects with minimal creative direction
This is a deeply technical creative role where you'll solve production challenges from concept through to delivery.
