The National Customer Interaction Department
The National Customer Interaction Department is seeking a talented Video Editor to join its Communications team. Supporting communications for more than 50,000 colleagues across Great Britain and Ireland, this role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing engaging multimedia content across a variety of internal channels, with a particular focus on video production. From developing concepts and storyboards to filming, editing, and managing agency relationships, you will oversee the end-to-end production process while contributing to impactful communications that support business objectives and colleague engagement.

Your New Role
- Creation of engaging multimedia content across a range of internal channels, including written communications, graphic design, digital assets, thumbnails, long and short-form video reels
- Videography; from concept development and script writing from storyboarding through to filming, editing and managing creative agencies
- Maintaining strong relationships with Key Stakeholders of all levels across the business
- Maintaining strong relationships with our agencies to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of materials produced
- Creation of project briefs and communications
- Organisation of events and video shoots
- Monitoring and controlling adherence to all deadlines
- Continuous improvement within role, simplifying processes and operations to maximise efficiencies
- Supporting the delivery of the departmental strategy

About You
- Previous experience working in a communications or marketing department
- Excellent verbal/written communication
- Filming experience
- Copy writing experience
- Script writing experience
- Video pre-production planning including storyboards, scripts and shot lists
- Able to investigate, analyse and challenge appropriately
- Able to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work individually and as part of a wider team
- Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and able to use initiative
Desirable:
- Proficient in Design Software
- Skilled in project management
- Experience with filming, camera equipment and editing short business videos
- Working with creative agencies to produce high-quality videos
What You’ll get in Return
- Salary starting from £37,545 rising to £43,840
- 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working (changing to 1 day a week remote working from January 2027)
