The Role My client is seeking a Middleweight Editor to join their London-based content team. Reporting into the Content Lead, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality short and long-form content across digital, social, broadcast, and event platforms.

This is a hands-on role within a small team where editors are involved in the full post-production workflow, from ingest and archiving through to final delivery and platform optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end editing of short and long-form content across multiple platforms
  • Crafting strong narrative structure, pacing, and emotional storytelling
  • Sound design, basic mixing, and use of motion graphics/captions
  • Adapting content for different formats, audiences, and channels
  • Managing media assets, server organisation, and project workflows
  • Collaborating with producers and stakeholders on briefs and feedback
  • Delivering fast-turnaround content for social, marketing, and live events
  • Supporting workflow improvements and creative experimentation

Candidate Profile

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Strong storytelling and editorial judgement
  • Good understanding of social-first content and platform best practice
  • Confident across full post-production from brief to delivery
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Good technical understanding of video formats and delivery specs
  • Proactive, creative thinker with a willingness to experiment
