GiveMeSport is a leading sports media brand delivering breaking news, trending stories, analysis, and viral moments across the biggest leagues and athletes in the world.
As a worldwide leader, GiveMeSport operates at a rapid pace and is always looking for experienced and passionate contributors who can create original high-quality content in a timely manner.
We are currently looking for a Video Lead to help drive our video strategy and output across sports content.
Your Responsibilities
- Create and deliver original sports-related video content in short-form and long-form formats
- Develop video concepts and content briefs, and coordinate with third-party content creators on opportunities and deliverables
- Identify and source user-generated content and other video materials, assisting with securing necessary permissions and usage rights
- Build and maintain relationships with sports organizations, PR representatives, talent representatives, and other industry contacts to support content development
- Recommend and engage independent content creators for potential collaborations, and work with them throughout production
- Provide recommendations on video content opportunities, creator engagement, and related budget considerations
- Identify and recommend new content creators and contributors for future collaboration
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the reach, distribution, and visibility of video content across digital and social platforms
- Prepare, format, and publish video content across designated platforms
- Review performance metrics and provide recommendations on content strategy, publishing schedule, audience engagement, and monetization
- Support the development, promotion, and distribution of podcast and video podcast content, including clips and other promotional materials
- Collaborate with editorial staff and contributors to identify opportunities for video content, talent participation, and cross-promotional initiatives
- Explore and implement AI tools to improve ideation, creative production and analysis

Experience and Skills
- Proven experience producing and editing video content, ideally within sports or entertainment media
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms, formats, and audience behaviour across YouTube and social platforms
- Experience developing content concepts, briefs, and working with outside creators or contributors
- A strong network of, or ability to build, industry contacts (sports organizations, PR, talent representatives)
- Comfort reviewing performance data and translating it into content and distribution strategy
- Strong interest in sport and sports media
- Experience in digital publishing or media
- Familiarity with monetisation strategies across social and video platforms
- Comfort experimenting with AI tools and automation workflows
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, freelance capacity
