Video Lead

Who you are
- 5+ years’ experience producing exceptional video content, as a journalist, videographer, or similar
- An extraordinary storyteller with strong editorial instincts
- Highly capable across the full process: from concept to shoot to edit
- Deeply curious, collaborative, and excited to build and take ownership of our video output
- You have an abundance of ideas for how to bring stories of healthcare innovation to life for a wide range of audiences
- You care about producing work that stands up against top-tier media, brands, and agencies, and you know what that bar looks like

What the job involves
We’re building the defining media voice for innovative healthcare.
You’ll have access to stories, companies, and technologies at the cutting edge and get to shape how a critically important global industry is understood.
We’ve built momentum across our marketing. Now we’re looking for someone exceptional to establish and lead our video capability: creating a strong engine of premium, highly engaging content, alongside standout pieces that shape how the industry sees itself.
You’ll operate as a solo production unit within the team, with a remit to produce world-class work so that Scarlet tells the story of what’s happening at the frontier of healthcare they look to Scarlet.

- Create Scarlet’s video function from the ground up
- Produce a consistent cadence of exceptional short-form and flagship longer-form video content
- Develop and execute original concepts that elevate our brand and tell the most important stories in healthcare
- Plan and conduct shoots with customers, partners, and teammates, including filming with some of the most innovative companies in the world
- Edit to a premium standard, with strong narrative, pacing, and taste
- Collaborate closely with the team to ensure video becomes a central part of how we communicate
- Contribute to making Scarlet the go-to resource for understanding innovation in healthcare
