Video Producer / Director

Location: Remote (South of England) with regular travel across the South of England for filming. Optional office working in Thurleigh, Bedfordshire.

Type: Full-time (Maternity Cover 6months)

Salary: From £38,000 (pro rata), depending on experience.

About Tailwind

For over 18 years, Tailwind has been producing high-quality films for some of the UK's leading brands and organisations. Working with clients including Tesco, UCAS, Imperial College London, Middlesex University and many more, we create everything from corporate campaigns and employer branding films to documentaries, educational content and social-first productions.

We believe great storytelling starts with great people. That's why we've built a supportive, collaborative culture where creativity is encouraged, ideas are valued and everyone has the opportunity to develop.

We're also committed to reducing our environmental impact. Since 2023, every Tailwind production has been Net Zero, with carbon offsetting supporting projects around the world.

The Role

This is a six-month fixed-term maternity cover position with the opportunity to work on a diverse range of productions for some of the UK's leading brands and organisations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves taking ownership of projects from initial brief through to final delivery. You'll lead productions, build strong client relationships, develop creative ideas, direct shoots and ensure every project meets the high standards Tailwind is known for.

Producing and directing will form the core of the role. While you'll be confident editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and happy to edit projects when required, you'll also work closely with our wider post-production team across larger productions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
