Video Producer - RHS Video Team
Overview of the Role
We are looking to recruit a Video Producer to join the RHS Video Team. They will support with the creation of content for the RHS YouTube channel as well as servicing requests made from various departments within the organisation, including fundraising, communities, and education.
Accountabilities

Film and edit high-standard video content for:
- The RHS YouTube Channel
- In-house requests across the organisation

Oversee all stages of video projects (pre-production, production, and post-production) under the guidance of the Lead Video Manager

Collaborate with colleagues to develop inspiring content aligned with the charity’s evolving mission

Manage legal compliance for all video projects:
- Sign and securely store contracts, licenses, and permissions
- Ensure regulatory accuracy and protect future content usage

Travel regularly to:
- RHS shows, gardens, and off-site locations
- Capture engaging horticultural/gardening stories for diverse audiences

Maintain video asset integrity:
- Store finished content within the team’s designated server
- Upload clips to the Society’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) System
- Apply accurate metadata and documentation per agreed standards for accessibility and rights management

Comply with current Health & Safety legislation and the RHS’s Health & Safety Policy Statement

Perform additional duties as reasonably required by the role
