Video Production Assistant / Junior Videographer
Location: Exeter (Skypark) with travel across the South West
Full Time

Join Evolution Media

At Evolution Media, we believe the best marketing happens when creative storytelling and performance marketing work together.

We're a fast-growing media production and marketing agency based in Exeter, creating high-end commercial video content, branded documentaries, podcasts and marketing campaigns for businesses across the UK.

Our work takes us everywhere from manufacturing facilities and distilleries to food producers, charities, events and national brands. No two weeks are ever the same.

We're looking for someone who's passionate about filmmaking and wants to build a career in production—not just someone who knows how to operate a camera.

This is an opportunity to work alongside an experienced production team, gain hands-on experience on professional shoots and play a key role in creating content that genuinely makes an impact.

The Role

You'll support every stage of the production process, including:

  • Assisting on commercial video shoots across the South West and beyond.
  • Camera operation and supporting the lead videographer.
  • Setting up lighting and audio equipment.
  • Preparing, maintaining and organising production kit.
  • Editing content for social media, websites and marketing campaigns.
  • Colour grading, audio balancing and exporting final content.
  • Assisting with drone operations (if qualified).
  • Helping with pre-production planning, shot lists and logistics.
  • Working with our wider marketing team to deliver content that performs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
